MHC After 3 provides after-school programming to middle and high school students in Martinsville-Henry County. The hours between 3-6 p.m. are critical to the success of students and research shows that students who go somewhere after school are successful. Parents and students in Martinsville-Henry County helped to create programming to foster students culturally, intellectually, and physically. MHC After 3 uses the Triple-A model (Arts, Athletics, and Academics) to give students what they want.
MHC After 3 is funded by the 21st Century Community Learning Centers grants and has been serving students since 2006. In the Martinsville and Henry County area, MHC After 3 enriches the lives of hundreds of students annually through high-quality out-of-school time programs at no cost to families in the community. Our programs serve middle and high schools students through a variety of professionally mentored arts, academics, athletics and personal development programs, supportive community partnerships, and meaningful mentor relationships.
