The Educational Talent Search (ETS) program serves 6th – 12th graders from Martinsville City and Henry & Patrick Counties nurturing students’ skills and knowledge. Motivating students to complete high school and pursue post-secondary education is the aim of ETS. Services provided by Educational Talent Search are provided at no cost to participants and include the following:
- Grade-Appropriate Mentoring
- College and financial aid (FAFSA) application assistance
- Academic, financial, career, and personal counseling
- Skill building: studying, test-taking, time management, life skills & organization
- Waivers for SAT/ACT and VA College Applications
- All-expense-paid college campus tours
- Tutoring and Entrance exams prep
- Summer programming
- Parent information workshops and assistance
- FAFSA/SEED assistance
- Essay editing and scholarship research
